Quadrant conducted a survey of the inter-terminal train in the basement level of the Bush Intercontinental Airport, in Houston, Texas. The train is an automated people mover in the non-secure part of the airport terminal system. The survey evaluates the future capacity demands on the in-ter-terminal train. The survey provides a snapshot of inter-terminal train ridership on which to base forecasts of future use when combined with the estimated growth of airline passenger traf-fic. In addition, Quadrant reviewed operations and maintenance reports to assess whether the inter-terminal train system is capable of reliable operation for the future.
