We are seeking a senior CAD/designer scientist with at least five years of experience with MicroStation 8 and AutoCAD 2008. Experience with Civil Engineering applications like GeoPak and Civil3D desirable; ability to quickly develop proficiency in such applications is required.

The senior CAD/designer will work with civil engineers and other CAD staff to produce accurate drawings for highway, utility and drainage projects. The designer must have strong graphic communications skills and be familiar with engineering design techniques.

Quadrant is a leading engineering firm in Houston for transportation infrastructure projects. Most projects are in the Houston metropolitan area.

We are seeking a planner/environmental scientist with at least two years of experience in regional planning and NEPA assessment. Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in planning or a natural science discipline is required; Master of Arts or Science degree and professional certification is desirable.

The planner/scientist will work with an interdisciplinary team to conduct regional planning, environmental impact studies and GIS for transportation projects. The planner/scientist will also perform NEPA assessments and other planning and environmental studies, depending on the person’s backgrounds and skills. The person must have strong written and oral communication skills.

Quadrant has been in the forefront of planning studies and environmental impact assessment for transportation infrastructure for 30 years. The successful candidate can expect to collaborate on a wide range of projects in highways, airports and utilities, ranging from initial planning studies through design and to environmental permitting. Most projects are in the Houston metropolitan area.
